How it works
Every month your circle picks one book. Buy it, borrow it, or listen to it. Any format counts, and so does only getting halfway through.
Once a month we take over a corner of a lovely local venue. The conversation starts with the book and goes wherever the room takes it.
Between meet-ups, your circle lives in a private WhatsApp group, and your membership unlocks events across the whole community as we grow.

Founding members shape everything: the books we read, the events we add, the way each evening runs. In return, founding members keep this rate for as long as they stay.
Your membership includes your seat at every gathering, so there is no ticket to buy on top. You don't need to come to a gathering first either: join today and your seat at the next one is yours.

Every circle needs someone to hold it. Someone who says hello at the door, keeps the evening moving, and makes a room of strangers feel like a room of friends.

The £5 ticket is a one-off seat at a single gathering, made for trying us out with no commitment. Membership is the ongoing version: a guaranteed seat every month, your circle's WhatsApp group, and access to events across the whole community. If you come on a ticket and decide to join, your £5 comes off your first month, so trying us out effectively costs nothing.
No. Finished, half-finished, and "read the first chapter on the bus" are all welcome. The book starts the conversation, it does not gatekeep it.
Please do. Most members join solo, and the evenings are designed so that arriving alone feels easy within about four minutes.
